FRESHLY BAKED COOKIES
Whether it’s the aroma, taste, sweetness, or the process of making them, cookies right out of the oven seem to have their effect on me. They can instantly cheer me up and are great to eat whether I’m watching a movie, spending time with my family or just plain hungry!

WHEN PEOPLE SAY THANK YOU IF YOU HOLD THE DOOR OPEN FOR THEM
It’s a great feeling when people appreciate that little extra step you take to make to demonstrate your kindness. Every little thing you do counts and a small gesture can mean a lot to someone else. Whenever someone says thank you for that, it just makes my day to know that they care! :)

THE FIRST SNOWFALL
When winter rolls around and the first snowfall finally arrives, the feelings of excitement and awe seem to go hand in hand for me. Being the first to step on a patch of snow leaves behind a much needed sense of accomplishment!

WRITING LETTERS
In this modern day and age of increasing technology, it becomes a rare sight to see a handwritten letter from a friend or loved one. But, when a letter or card arrives in the mail, it just makes me feel that much more special!

LOOKING THROUGH OLD PHOTO ALBUMS
It’s one thing to remember our most favourite memories but it’s another to almost re-live them by looking at photographs. They seem to bring the moment to life! While I look through old family albums, I enjoy looking through the moments of the past and wonder about what is to come!
